If you are spending time in Plymouth Mass, be sure and stay at Sisu Boutique Hotel! The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully decorated with modern amenities and nice extra touches, very clean, and extremely convenient to be able to walk the historic area of Plymouth. Parking is right by your room. There is a nice outdoor sitting area as well. Meggie was very communicative and welcoming. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay in a big box hotel. Stay at Sisu! You’ll be glad you did!
Amazing place to stay! Beautiful finishes and attention to detail; made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters with our 4 year old and baby and there was plenty of room. Will definitely stay here again!
We had a hugely enjoyable stay in Plymouth, not least because of this charming and perfectly located hotel. It feels like a quiet, out of the way place, but all of the major sights are right there - in easy walking distance (and for the one major attraction that isn't, our incredibly kind and obliging host Meggie offered to drop us out in her very cool Jeep). We also received excellent tips for coffee, meals, etc. and were able to leave some luggage after check-out while we explored some more. This is an owner-operated place with a genuinely personal touch. The rooms are very tastefully done, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We felt very well looked after and would happily stay there again.
We stayed 2 nights in the Seafarer room and it was wonderful. Cleanliness is a top priority for us and the room was spotless. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location made for easy walking access to everything we wanted to do and see downtown. The host, Meggie, communicated everything we needed in advance and was extremely responsive during our visit. Highly recommend Sisu! We would stay here again if we ever get to return.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay. We stayed in the First Mate room. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and the room exceptionally clean. I may have to get a Nespresso machine now, as the coffee was delicious. Check in was done via text, so we didn’t get to meet the owners. Great location in historic Plymouth.
Our stay at Sisu was wonderful! Upon entering our room (Seafarer), there was a wonderful scent of eucalyptus. The space was very clean with wonderful touches that elevated the motel to exceptional. Live plants, ceramic mugs and glass ware, upscale coffee maker created an upscale experience. Having an umbrella and fan for the room were very thoughtful additions. The bed was sooo comfortable! The shower was spacious and I loved the teak flooring. Location was perfect! It was an easy walk to downtown and the water. Local eatery's were close at hand too. Being on a side street meant it was quiet. Having our own sitting area outside, in front of the room was a great place for morning coffee or evening cocktail. I hope to stay again!
Such a wonderful stay at Sisu! My husband and I stayed in the Gunwale room and it was beautiful, clean, and spacious for 2 people. Such thoughtful touches. Maggie was very communicative and was able to accommodate us arriving a bit early. Easy walk into downtown Plymouth - all the restaurants and the waterfront and Plymouth Rock. Absolutely would recommend if you want a little oasis but close to downtown. Thank you for a great stay, can't wait to return!
Review from Alan's wife: Oh my gosh - what an incredible little motel!! I am somewhat of a diva looking for rentals that are tastefully done, comfortable and provide all the amenities. This place did NOT disappoint. You felt incredibly protected and safe there. The mattresses were super comfortable, the rain shower bathroom a work of art, and the body wash, shampoo and conditioner high-end. The Nespresso coffee maker came with real mugs AND travel cups, and the mini-fridge was stocked with waters and creamer. Each room had its own air conditioner and side fan; even an umbrella was provided for those rainy days. If that wasn't enough, the owners built us a fire in the nearby outdoor seating area to relax in the Adirondack chairs for an evening chat and cocktail using their provided glassware. Each room had a nautical curated look that spoke to the region. Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II are only a 10-minute walk away ON THE WATER. We would definitely stay here again (and only here).
